Rabbits
We currently have 2 female Flemish Giant cross does (Honey and Dalia) and a New Zealand buck (Magnus). For us, getting rabbits was a step toward food security. Rabbits reproduce rapidly, often having more than 10 kits in a litter. They can be raised with their mother on milk and grass and will provide a lean source of protein that is inexpensive and easy to produce.

Rest Peacefully
Delia crossed the rainbow bridge on September 14, 2022. She was one of the sweetest creatures on our farm. She loved clover, and being held (most of the time) like a baby. When I found that I needed to sit still and quiet she is the one I would go to. She has left a hole that will not soon be filled.
